More than a walk. A better way to spend your dog’s day.

Four The Paws Adventures are small-group outings built for dogs who need more than a walk around the neighborhood. Dogs get out into the world to hike, explore, sniff, move, and experience the kind of freedom and fulfillment they were made for.

Adventures are intentionally kept small so every dog can be safely managed, known as an individual, and given the space to explore. My years of experience as a dog trainer are woven naturally into every outing — from trail manners and recall to neutrality, confidence, and learning how to move through the world alongside other dogs.

What Adventures Look Like

Every day is a little different depending on the dogs, weather, season, and where we decide to explore, but adventures are centered around:

• Trail walks and hikes
• Plenty of sniffing, exploring, and natural movement
• Small-group social experiences
• Real-life skills practiced naturally along the way
• Opportunities to build confidence and independence
• Time outside simply getting to be a dog

The goal isn’t to march dogs for miles or simply tire them out. It’s to give them a genuinely fulfilling experience — one that meets their physical and mental needs and sends them home happy, satisfied, and ready to relax.

Dogs may occasionally spend time safely resting in an individual crate when needed as part of transportation, scheduling, or managing the group. Dogs joining Four The Paws should therefore be comfortable and relaxed in a crate.

Pricing

$65 per adventure

Dogs attend on a consistent weekly schedule. Regular attendance allows me to get to know each dog, build a compatible group, and create a predictable routine for both dogs and their humans.

Adventure Requirements

To keep our groups safe and enjoyable, dogs must:

• Be comfortable riding in the car and resting in a crate when needed
• Be friendly with people and appropriate around other dogs
• Be physically capable of participating in active outdoor adventures
• Complete a consultation and evaluation before joining

Not every dog is the right fit for group adventures, and that’s okay. Group placement is based on temperament, compatibility, physical ability, and what will create the best experience for everyone.
